Meet the Funder (23 February to 5 March) 2027

The event will take place over two weeks:
Tuesday 23, Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 February
Tuesday 3, Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 March

If you are a constituted community group, charity or club with a project or activity that you are seeking grant funding for, then here is a chance to meet potential local funders. We are offering individual appointments of up to 20 minutes for you to talk to funders before potentially making an application. Please note that the funders advice will be generalised, so they are not able to give detailed guidance on the content of your application.

The following funders have appointments available on the 23, 24, 25 February and 2, 3, 4 March.
• Cambridge City Council – community grants of 5K and under
• Cambridge City Council – Resettlement grant
• Cambridgeshire Community Foundation– range of grant funds
• Cambridgeshire County Council – Community Service Small Grants
• The Evelyn Trust -Small Health & Wellbeing grants
• The National Lottery Heritage Fund Grants
• The National Lottery Community Fund
• South Cambridgeshire District Council – Community Chest Grants
• South Cambridgeshire District Council – Zero Carbon
• Sport England – Movement Fund
• Huntingdonshire District Council – Community Chest Grant scheme and other grants
• BBC Children In Need – core and project funding

How to book

Applications for appointment are open to all constituted community groups, charities or clubs with a project or activity that you are seeking grant funding for. Please click here to apply to book your appointments. You will be asked to fill in a short project form.

Deadline: Friday 29 January at 5pm.

We will review all the forms and confirm the allocation of your appointment slot by email at the beginning of February 2027. Your project form will be shared with the funder, so that they have some information about what you would like support with before you meet. The funder will send you a Teams meeting meeting link after your meeting has been confirmed at the beginning of February 2027.
