Meet our Trustees

Volunteering helped her find her career of choice and has been part of her life for many years, from helping to run toddler groups and marshalling at the Junior Parkrun when her children were younger, to helping in museums and being a trustee.

Angie joined the Board of Cambridge Council for Voluntary Service in July 2022 as she values the valuable support they provide to voluntary and community organisations in helping local people build fairer, stronger communities.

Caroline has a background of working within local disability organisations and has experience of working with people affected by both physical and learning disabilities together with long term health conditions, including mental health.

Caroline’s role with Healthwatch, as their Communities Programme Manager, brings her into contact with providers of health and care services, commissioners and the voluntary and community sector. Caroline also meets members of the public, encouraging local people to have their say about local health and care services and helping to ensure they have opportunities to be involved at times of change.

At Healthwatch, Caroline oversees areas of work that include engagement, volunteering, Partnership Boards and local health and care forums.

Flóra is a small organisation coach, trainer, and consultant with Rapport Coaching. Since 2015, she has been a CEO and trustee of small organisations in the health, educational, and community development sectors.

She is an accredited coach with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and holds a Master’s in Social Innovation from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.

Outside of her work and volunteering, Flóra enjoys an eclectic mix of hobbies, including crocheting, playing board games, and ballroom dancing.

Now retired, but she still enjoys working with CCVS and its multitude of organisations, as well as being a school’s trustee and Governor.

She is also involved with the Friends of the Rosie Charity, which was established when the Rosie Maternity Hospital was built. The charity provides benefits to mothers and babies in the hospital.

Noel’s past vocational and charitable activities include Chair of Trustees at Huntingdon Gymnastics Club, Trustee for SportsAid Eastern (a grant-making body for young athletes) and President of the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce. He was also appointed to the British Chambers of Commerce National Policy Committee. Earlier, Noel’s vocational interests included Chair of school Governors, village hall treasurer and being a regular volunteer visitor to his local Cheshire Home.

Noel is a keen follower of all mainstream sports. As a long-time member of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), his summers are spent watching cricket at Lord’s, while on cold winter days he cheers on Peterborough Rugby Club and travels across Europe to support the England rugby team.

Riva then went freelance and ended up helping to launch a home computer in the early 80s in Cambridge. That’s how she met her husband, who was launching a home computing magazine at the same time.

Together they then set up and ran a journalism and media training school in London for 26 years. The Press Association bought them out of and retirement beckoned. But Riva doesn’t know how to retire so she became a parish councillor for Hemingford Grey, launched HemingfordHub in time for the pandemic and was invited to join Hunts Forum as a trustee.

Sarah has lived in St Neots for over 20 years and enjoys being part of the local community. Before starting her own business, she worked mainly in the charity sector. Sarah’s positive approach to life has enabled her to develop a successful career, overcoming the challenges that cerebral palsy brings on a daily basis.
