Wellbeing for staff and volunteers

We all know how important it is to look after our health and wellbeing, both physical and mental. We all have days when it feels harder to do so when we lack motivation, and even though we know what we could do to make ourselves feel better, we just can’t bring ourselves to do it.
Support Cambridgeshire is committed to supporting the wellbeing of their staff and volunteers, as well as championing wellbeing as a priority within the voluntary sector.
We know that charities and groups supporting our communities are essential and do excellent work, but we also know that there can be a strain on the people behind them. This can be due to the complex nature of what they do, the pressure in relation to workload or the challenges of working with limited resources.
Support Cambridgeshire has developed a wellbeing strategy to support its staff and has collated resources to help groups consider how to look after their health and wellbeing.
