Environmental Policies act as a commitment by an organisation to address the impact its work has on the environment.
Environment Action Plans are working documents that set out exactly how your organisation will develop a good understanding of its impact and how it will take action to make positive change, within given time frames.

These documents can be amended to suit the work of your organisation.
Cambridge Climate Change Charter
It can also be helpful to make a public pledge that your team are behind, to help give you goals and to raise awareness of the need for climate action. CCVS has signed the Cambridge Climate Change Charter.
The Charter gives individuals, households, businesses and organisations the opportunity to understand their carbon emissions and how to reduce them, providing a platform to make a pledge to take positive action.
Launched in 2020 by the Cambridge City Council and Cambridge Carbon Footprint, the Charter has engaged with numerous individuals, businesses and organisations and we are proud to say that we have added our voice to this growing community of local climate leaders.
