Emerging from the Crisis: Insights from the Voluntary Sector in Cambridge
The research set out to capture the views of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector in Cambridge on the key issues their service users face coming out of the pandemic. It also set out to identify what help the sector requires to play its part in meeting these needs.
Throughout the pandemic, the VCSE sector in Cambridge and nationally has demonstrated an ability to engage with the hardest-to-reach in the community and a willingness to step up and innovate to support the most vulnerable.
The research demonstrates that the sector has earned its place at the decision-making table alongside statutory agencies as an equal partner in any strategies impacting their service users.
