Meet the two new trustees joining our board
Published on: November 2, 2026
Support Cambridgeshire is delighted to welcome two new trustees to its board: Ashley Bunn, CEO at CPSL Mind, and Karen Bean, CEO at Huntingdon Freeman’s Trust. Both were co-opted at the trustee meeting on 21 October 2026 and will be formally elected at the AGM on 25 November 2026.
Both join us from valued member organisations, bringing extensive sector experience and perspectives from larger organisations and grant-giving. We hope their knowledge will help strengthen Support Cambridgeshire’s ongoing work.
Our co-chairs, Noel Kearns and Flóra Raffai said:
“Both Ash and Karen will be a really valued addition to the skills on the board already, as Support Cambridgeshire moves into its next chapter; we are really happy to have them both.”
Ashley Bunn:
I’m delighted to join Support Cambridgeshire’s Board and look forward to contributing my experience and passion for the voluntary and community sector to its work. I see first-hand the incredible difference our sector makes to people’s lives every day, and firmly believe in the power of collaboration. By working together, sharing our knowledge and championing the collective voice of our sector, we can strengthen our impact and make an even greater difference to the people and communities we serve.
Karen Bean:
It’s a pleasure to become a trustee of Support Cambridgeshire. I look forward to working with fellow trustees and members to help shape the charity’s next chapter, with a focus on listening to local organisations and supporting their long-term sustainability.
We are grateful to everyone who applied to become a trustee and for their interest in supporting our work. We warmly invite you to join us at Support Cambridgeshire’s AGM on 25 November 2026 as we look ahead to the charity’s next chapter.
