Join us for the Wisbech Volunteer and Community Fair on Saturday 14 November at the Queen Mary Centre. Hosted by the Volunteer Cambs team at Support Cambridgeshire, in partnership with Fenland Family Volunteering and Ferry Project.

What to expect
Ferry Project will also be running a fantastic craft fair on the day, alongside a range of wonderful family activities organised by Fenland Family Volunteering.
Here are the list of groups that are attending. We will add more as they book!
The National Trust have various roles at Peckover House in Wisbech such as House Guides, Welcome Hosts, Garden, Handyperson and Conservation.
Wisbech PHAB have various roles available.
Read Easy Fenland are looking for Management Team members and Volunteer Coaches.
CamSight would like some volunteer Befrienders and Drivers.
Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough would like volunteers for telephone befriending, face to face befriending and care home befriending – volunteers give an hour a week to speak with an older person and its such a vital service to combat loneliness and isolation.
St John Ambulance, Whittlesey have various roles available.
CPFT Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS foundation Trust have volunteering roles within the NHS to support in inpatient facilities: dementia befriending, gardening, admin support, mental health ward befriending and End-of-life.
Alright Mate? Fenland are looking for Male Facilitators and volunteers for Social Media and the Promotions Team.
Caring Together Charity are looking for volunteers for fundraising, admin and befriending.
Angles Theatre have these opportunities: admin, marketing, programming, front of house, bar, coffee shop, chaperones. Plus creative roles: costumes, props, set painting, set build, technical light and sound.
CP Learning Trust Charity run the Fenland Orchards Project and Project Jack, Land Rover restoration and Community Water Garden that are all based in Fenland and there are volunteering opportunities at both of these projects. They have a wide range of different roles on offer from support with gardening tasks to workshop maintenance.
Evolution Health & Wellness Centre have various roles available.
Marketplace Arts are looking for stewards, path clearers, tech support, flyer/poster distributors and more for the upcoming Light Up The Town and Made in Fenland events.
Feed Fenland are looking for volunteers to serve food and cook food.
Wisbech Lions Lions moto is “We serve” We help wherever we are needed in the local community, from fundraising to actual hands on help.
