Support Cambridgeshire is a registered charity set up to champion and support community and voluntary groups and promote volunteering across Cambridgeshire.

Our Mission

We strengthen and champion organisations to collaborate, take action and shape strong, inclusive communities. ​

Our Aims

To deliver our mission, we work in the following areas:

  • Capacity building: ​

We provide practical support and training to build skills, confidence and organisational strength. ​

  • Partnerships and collaborations: ​

We promote collaboration, relationships and shared learning across communities and sectors. ​

  • Leadership and advocacy: ​

We amplify community voices and champion local action. ​

  • Volunteering: ​

We promote safe, inclusive and engaging volunteering and champion the real difference it makes to individuals and communities. ​

  • Community engagement: ​

We support communities to identify needs, develop ideas and implement solutions that improve lives. ​

  • Support Cambridgeshire resilience: ​

We will continue to build a resilient, well-governed and sustainable organisation, able to respond to community needs now and in the future. ​
