The Creative Health Network is for Charities, CICs and Community Groups that provide or are interested in creative activities for health outcomes in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough region. Also Creative Health practitioners and health professionals interested in Creative Health.
Aim
- Creating a collaborative environment
- Providing a space for discussion
- Sharing good practice and upcoming opportunities.
- Developing a voice to inform and engage meaningfully with health colleagues
- Offer solutions and contribute to the current transformation of the NHS bringing creativity to its core
Background
Evidence shows that creative communities are healthy communities. Creativity has a valuable role in contributing to improved health outcomes. There are a wide range of creative practices that take place in the community at all levels and in healthcare settings. This network provides a place to bring together a Creative Health community for Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. We aim to meet four times a year, alternating on-line with in-person events across the region (Cambridgeshire & Peterborough)
The network is free of charge with no commitment. We welcome positive mindsets looking for solutions, a desire to work in partnership with others and a focus on commonalities of purpose.
