Our new brand is here

Welcome to our first newsletter with our new brand and name! We hope you like it. You’ll see that the logo has a similar look and feel to it as the Integrated Care System. That had been designed to reflect that we are valued and recognised system partners. The strapline ‘Together for healthier communities’ reinforces the principle that we are the connection to local people and that we are stronger through collaboration. Work is now in hand to update our webpage too.

Latest Voluntary Sector Network meeting

At our last meeting we heard from two voluntary sector consortia. Colleagues from the Voluntary Sector Alliance and Fullscope talked about their experience of working together and why and how their partnerships came about. There was a lively discussion and keen interest from Network members about knowing more. We are putting together some resources so that this learning can be shared with us all.

Voluntary sector showcase day

Thank you to the 11 organisations who made our first Showcase Day such a roaring success! 55 people signed up for one or more of the sessions and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. There has been such interest that we will be doing a second day sometime in the summer. And thanks to Debbie for all her hard work coordinating and organising everyone!

Representation training

We have teamed up with our colleagues at Hunts Forum to offer a building skills and confidence training session around representation. Working through real life examples, this is suitable for anyone attending meetings for your organisation or the sector. It has been arranged for 18^th June in person at the Maple Centre. We send out many emails to the Network with engagement and training opportunities. If you have taken up one of these opportunities we would love to hear from you. A sentence or two about the difference it has made for you and your organisation would be perfect and will help us show the benefit of the Network.
