Support Fenland Network
A group for people working in Fenland as a place to meet, talk and swap ideas, stories and details allowing the voluntary and community sector to flourish.
One outcome of the Lloyds Bank Foundation-funded CVS project completed in 2020/21 was that those working in Fenland said there was nowhere to communicate what organisations were doing within the district, hear about new projects or ideas and have an opportunity for a support network between VCS.
In response to this, the Support Fenland Networking group was created, and a range of informal online networking sessions was set up.
Aims
For those working within Fenland to have a place to meet, talk and swap ideas, stories and details to allow VCS to flourish.
Format
All sessions start with a round-up of general information, which could be helpful for VCS. The floor is then opened up for those attending to contribute. There are no speakers, minutes or agendas, just an open forum to listen to what’s happening and swap details.
Joining
The group is free and open to anyone working within Fenland. Sessions dates are promoted in advance and happen at different times of the day and early evening. All sessions can be found on the training and event calendar or email info@supportcambridgeshire.org.uk
