  • Benefit young people aged 11-25 years old.
  • Support those in a position of economic disadvantage (including one of the following: care leavers, those experiencing homelessness, young carers, young parents, refugees, and young people at risk of or with experience of the criminal justice system).
  • Empower young people to fulfill their potential and build a positive future by providing spaces that allow them to feel safe and secure, helping them unlock talent, build life skills, provide mentoring, and improve their chances to gain meaningful employment.
  • Demonstrate positive results from their project within 12 months of KFC funding being received.

There is a two-stage application process. Groups must first submit an online Expression of Interest, including a two-minute video about their organisation, before being invited to submit a full application.

Clarion Futures Digital Grants Programme

Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available for not-for-profit organisations seeking to deliver innovative, well designed projects that support Clarion residents and the wider community to address digital exclusion.

The funding is for projects and activities that focus on:

  • Supporting Clarion residents to discover the full scope of how the internet can assist them in their everyday lives, and provide them with the skills and confidence to do so.
  • Supporting residents to access the digital resources that meet their individual needs and circumstances.
  • Building digital skills and confidence for all.
  • Encouraging residents to use the internet with confidence so they are safe and avoid risky and/or illegal behaviour.

Not-for-profit organisations including constituted community groups, registered charities, companies limited by guarantee, social enterprises or Community Interest Companies (CICs) can apply.

The funding is aimed at projects which are actively seeking to support residents of Clarion housing and should be delivered in and around Clarion neighbourhoods. Projects can support a range of beneficiaries including both Clarion residents and members of the wider community.

Grants can cover a variety of costs associated with running activities and delivering projects, including venue hire, training and activity resources, insurance, volunteer expenses, equipment and computer software.

It should be noted that this fund is not primarily aimed at helping people to use a computer.

Applications for 2025 are open on a rolling basis; however, applications must be submitted before the published deadline to be considered for the upcoming round. There are three application rounds in 2025.

The first deadline for applications is 12 February
