Recruiting Quality Volunteers

Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is seeking volunteers for its Quality Volunteering Programme, a partnership initiative with the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

Volunteers will be required to reach out into communities and engage with people who have long-term health conditions, promoting a healthy lifestyle and self-care in order to prevent falls, strokes and diabetes in the older population.

Volunteers will receive full training and on-going personal development.

Volunteers will support the work of the Ambulance Service by passing on valuable knowledge and skills which enhance the quality of life for older and vulnerable members of local communities.
