Our new On-Demand training portal is now LIVE
Support Cambridgeshire continues to support voluntary and community groups throughout the county. CCVS, one of the partners of Support Cambridgeshire, has developed a range of on-demand introductory training sessions anyone in the county can access for free and watch in their own time.
What is on-demand training, and how do I access them?
Much like how you watch tv programs through Iplayer or other on-demand portals, we have done the same with training. This training is free to those in Cambridgeshire.
To access the training, you must sign up by filling in the form. This will activate an email giving you the code to access the training website, where you can access the training as and when you wish.
What training options are there?
CCVS has developed a range of training for trustees, staff and those new to the voluntary community sector.
Currently, we have:

2: Is your group a charity?
3: What structure will you choose?
4: Writing and amending your governing document
5: Insurance for community groups
6: Opening a bank account and setting up financial controls
More training will be added across the year.
Will online and in-person training still happen?
Yes, there will still be bookable online and in-person training available for all groups delivered by CCVS, Hunts Forum and Support Cambridgeshire – this is just added on to our current offer
How will I know new training has been added?
Training will be added throughout the year, and we will promote it through the Support Cambridgeshire website, newsletter and partner platforms.
