This event is for CEOs or leaders of small charities in Cambridgeshire.
What is it about?
The relationship with your Chair can have a huge impact on your wellbeing as CEO as well as your ability to succeed in your role. Yet, this is a relationship that can be challenging to build and maintain.
This 90-minute online event will be hosted by Janine Edwards and will look at key stages and different dimensions of the relationship, and tools to help you navigate and strengthen your CEO-Chair relationship. The session will provide a safe space to share experiences – good and bad – but importantly will focus on ideas for action. Even if you are not currently experiencing challenges, it’s a great opportunity to take stock of and review how you are working together

Janine Edwards will be hosting this event.
Janine has 15+ years’ experience of strategic development and supporting social purpose organisations and people to thrive. She has over a decade experience in senior leadership and trustee roles in the charity sector, currently as CEO of a small international development charity, Power for the People. Janine has worked with Boards, Chairs and CEOs to strengthen their work in various capacities with the FSI, Association of Chairs and Lloyds Banking Group.

This training is free to any group based in Cambridgeshire. Please note that in the case of being at capacity, spaces will be prioritised charity CEO’s that are delivering work in Cambridge, as funding from Cambridge City Council, Community Grants, has made this event possible.
