Recruiting volunteers to support your cause
The training looks at enhancing your understanding of what motivates people to volunteer and how to communicate your volunteer offer in a compelling way.
Please note we are running a training on retaining volunteers on 9th Oct .
You are welcome to sign up for one or both sessions.
Who is it for?
For anyone who manages volunteers and others and wants to ensure the needs and interests of the group and individual are being met
What is it about?
The training brings together expertise around volunteering, relevant research and marketing and communication ideas to help organisations develop more focussed volunteer recruitment plans.
What will I learn?
The session aims to provide you with:
· A greater understanding of the volunteer marketplace
· The knowledge to develop an appealing recruitment message
· Ideas to communicate your message effectively
· Ways to build engagement leading to recruitment
What to expect:
The session is run as a presentation with discussion, polls and quizzes.
