Experienced volunteer managers will get the chance to review their current systems and practices and explore best practice.

Less experienced volunteer managers will gain the information and confidence they to develop or start implementing volunteer policies.

By attending, you will get to explore what organisations need to have in place to recruit, support, retain and manage their volunteers.  You will also be given a detailed resource pack.

This event is FREE to any community organisation operating across Cambridgeshire.

Subject areas include:

·         How to develop or update a recruitment strategy.

·         Gain an understanding of different methods of recruitment.

·         Best practice in engagement, support and management of volunteers.

·         Gain an understanding of what motivates volunteers and contributes to retention.

The Trainer will be Chris Trevorrow, a Cambridge CVS Development and Training worker.  Chris is a qualified trainer with a background in running a community charity, managing volunteers and in volunteering.  She is also an experienced facilitator and a trained community and workplace mediator.

We will provide refreshments but you will need to provide your own lunch.
