This half day workshop is designed for anyone who has a leadership role within a small charity or community group. You may be a team leader, chair or committee member of a small group or you may work within a team and want to improve performance.

The aim of the session is to identify good practice in running a community group or small charitable organisation.

What is it about?

The course will identify good practice and help develop the skills and knowledge needed to run a voluntary group. It will cover:

The skills and techniques required to maximise the effectiveness of committees
The characteristics of effective groups and how to make them the characteristics of your group
Practical tools and techniques for managing and developing groups and involving volunteers
