Hot Topics for trustees: Explaining the difference your charity makes

As charities we are reliant on the contributions people make either in money, in kind or by giving their time. These stakeholders and the public in general are keen to know about the difference their contribution makes. Are you good at sharing the great work you do? Can you explain the link between each of your activities and the intended impact? This is a chance to reflect on your own organisation and discuss with others how they convey their impact.

As a by-product of our work with groups we are able to feedback to local authorities and funders the kinds of challenges that voluntary sector organisations are currently facing. This helps them to think about what kind of support they need to be offering. We will not share specific organisations information or case studies unless you are happy to.
