Looking for ideas and advice on how to raise funds for your community group or organisation?  This in-person event will equip you to explore different ways and provide techniques to successfully raise money for your group or cause. Hear actual case studies. Suitable for small-medium sized organisations.

This training is part of the Support Cambridgeshire/Support Fenland Funding Month programme.

 

Who is it for?

Aimed at small – medium sized voluntary groups. Ideal for charities, committee members and volunteers looking to raise funds to support their community activities.

What is it about?

We’ll present a variety of fundraising ideas and guide you through some of the processes,  including planning, promotion, compliance (legal aspects)   of your event or activity. This could be organising a sponsored walk, coffee morning, or other event as well as raising funds through crowdfunding, websites, business sponsorship  and much more.

What will I learn?

  • Lots of ways and ideas for fundraising and how to deliver them.
  • Staying within the law with your fundraising.
  • Hear real  local success stories of fundraising in the community

What to expect

This will be an in-person session with the opportunity to ask questions and share information.

Training will be delivered by Christine Trevorrow – Senior Development Officer (Support Cambridgeshire) and Marija Lysak Fenland Development Officer (Support Fenland)
