What will we cover?

With increasing costs and challenges in securing funding, how do we make sure our organisations are financially resilient? There is no easy answer to this, but there are things we can do to work towards longer term sustainability. This workshop will look at some of the tools available and give an opportunity to share ideas and experiences.

This will include:

• Analysing income streams and thinking about what it means to diversify our income

• Understanding the costs of the organisation and using budgets to monitor expenditure

• The importance of reserves and developing a reserves policy that goes beyond the numbers

• Incorporating financial planning in all we do

Who is the course aimed at?

Any trustees, managers, programme leads or finance staff who would like the opportunity to think through some of the issues surrounding financial sustainability and planning in the midst of uncertainty and challenges.
