The HSE-required Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is for low risk workplaces with minimum workforce numbers and will teach the delegate the skills and knowledge to help maintain life until the ambulance arrives.

Course Content

Health and safety (first aid) regulationsReporting of injuries and accident bookManaging an incidentThe Primary SurveyThe Unconscious casualtyResuscitation (CPR)ShockChokingSeizuresBleedingCommon workplace injuries.

The course is delivered over 1 day and contains both theoretic and practical learning modules

There is no formal assessment. The trainer provides continuous assessment throughout the day.

Certification

The student will receive an A4 certificate of completion which is valid for 3 years

Course Trainer:

This will be delivered by an experienced trainer provided by ABC Life Support

Course Cost:

£10 per person (normally this is £95) To secure your place you must pay this in advance, otherwise your place will be offered to another person. You will be emailed details on how to pay when your booking is received.
