Designed for those who are responsible for personal data in small charities, voluntary groups and social enterprises.

The workshop will consider the essential elements of current data protection law; and the practice of secure handling of personal data.

At the end of the session participants will:

(a) Have an understanding of what is and is not allowed, in terms of the law.

(b) Understand the importance of, and steps needed to keep personal data secure.

(c) Be more confident in applying best practice to data protection.

The workshop will be delivered online by David Green, Director of Green Pepper Consulting. To encourage interaction, attendance will be limited to 15 people. The event will last for 90 minutes, with a short break in the middle.
