Creating a comms plan – back to basics
Join Lorna, CCVS’s Communications Officer, at this informal session to take some of the mystery and apprehension out of creating a comms plan.
Who is it for?
If you’re asking yourself – why do I need a communications plan or where on earth do I start – this is for you.
Suitable for anyone involved in comms in an organisation or group, who needs guidance to make a comms plan.
Particularly suitable for smaller organisations, where you may be performing multiple roles and have limited comms time and resources.
What is it about?
We’ll be looking at the benefit of having a comms plan, both to you and to your organisation.
We’ll discuss what you need to consider, and ways to go about creating and using a plan.
What will I learn?
- What we mean by internal communications and why they are important.
- How working collaboratively with your team benefits your organisation – comms is a whole team responsibility.
- How to create a plan that meets the organisation’s needs.
- How to use the plan and prioritise your comms to best benefit you and the organisation.
What to expect:
A mixture of presentation and discussion.
A copy of the slides, and a resource pack after the event including an example plan template.
