CCVS AGM
This event is the official AGM for Cambridge Council for Voluntary Service. It will give us an opportunity to carry out the official business, and to take a look at our work over the past 18 months.
This is an important meeting for us and we need to ensure that enough member organisations are present to make the meeting quorate.
We have a guest speaker Matt Oliver who is the Head of think communities at Cambs and Peterborough councils. He will his view on where the Think Communities strategy has come from and what the Covid-19 pandemic has meant for it. The Think Communities partnership approach (2018) has been developed in collaboration with partners to create a shared vision, approach and priorities for building Community Resilience across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. It has been signed up to by all the local councils as well as the police. You can find out more here.
This approach will become more important to all local organisations as it embeds with all the statutory partners and starts to influence their thinking across all they do.
