Bid Writing forum – making a stage 2 application
Many major funders, including the National Lottery’s Reaching Community Fund often have a two-stage application process. It can be difficult to decide what is appropriate to put into each stage.
At this event, we discuss and share how to plan your application to handle this, deciding what evidence of need, information about project delivery and monitoring, and details of outcomes and impact is appropriate for ensuring you are successful in stage one, but leaves enough to make a strong stage two bid.
This is a network opportunity for those who are tasked with substantial fundraising for their organisation and are either employed, contracted or volunteer a significant amount of time to this role.
The forum will give an opportunity to network with other fundraisers, share and gain from each others skills and discuss relevant issues.
The forum is usually by invitation only but this event is open to all who feel the above description fits their role.
Refreshments are provided but please bring your own lunch.
This meeting is followed by a briefing on the County Council’s Innovate and Cultivate Fund which is also being held at the Corn Exchange between 2pm and 4:15pm.
