Becoming a Real Living Wage Employer
Who is this event for?
Free to all voluntary sector groups in Cambridgeshire and is delivered by CCVS
What is it about?
Does your organisation employ staff? Did you know that the Real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate that is voluntarily paid by over 7,000 UK businesses, who believe their staff deserve a wage which meets everyday needs – like the weekly shop, or a surprise trip to the dentist?
Join us for this workshop to find out what the Real Living Wage campaign is, what it means to be an accredited Real Living Wage employer, the benefits that being accredited can bring to your organisation, how you become accredited, and the support available, to help you through the process. This event will be delivered by Helen Crowther, Equality and Anti-Poverty Officer, Cambridge City Council in partnership with the CCVS. It will include a presentation on the Real Living Wage as well as plenty of time for questions and discussion with speakers and attendees.
What will you learn?

- How being accredited could benefit your organisation
